Director: Ronald Neal
Email: ronald.neal@utdallas.edu

The UTD Orchestra is composed of students who have previous experience in an orchestral instrument and is directed by Ronald Neal, Director/Concertmaster of the Dallas Chamber Orchestra.

The Orchestra's repertoire includes music by the great composers of the past, Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Telemann, Mozart, as well as bycomposers of the 20th century like Britten, Bartok, Piazzolla, and others. The class meets twice weekly for 75 minute rehearsals.

The UTD Orchestra performs in concert as a part of the Fall Festival and the Spring Festival offered by the UTD School of Arts and Humanities to the university community.

To become a member of the Orchestra, students sign up for either MUSI 2324, Orchestra I (freshman and sophomores) or MUSI 3381, Orchestra II (juniors and seniors or by permission of the instructor) and provide their own instruments. Email Ronald Neal for audition information.
