Majors in the School of Arts
& Humanities make excellent second majors, and students
with first majors in fields as diverse as biology, computer
science, or psychology often add a second major in Arts
& Humanities.
To graduate with a double major, a student must satisfy
all requirements set by each program and obtain the
permission of the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies of the school in which
the second major is housed. In addition, the student
must complete at least 12 semester credit hours in each
major field and at least 30 semester credit hours of
course work at The University of Texas at Dallas.
If the two majors lead to a B.A. and a B.S., the student
may choose which baccalaureate will appear on the degree.
To add a second major, pick up and complete the form
for changing or adding majors available in the Office
of the Registrar.
