The UTD Chorale performs in the Fall and Spring Arts Festivals every semester. The purpose of the Chorale is to help students, as well as members of the community, to enjoy and appreciate music through choral singing. By showing effort, initiative, commitment, and responsibility, students will benefit by improving their singing technique and the accomplishment of musical goals (such as score reading skills and music theory knowledge). The Chorale is open to all students as well as members of the community who are interested in singing challenging music in a wide variety of styles.

Over the past three semesters the Chorale has given performances of composers ranging from Orlando di Lasso, Michael Praetorius, and Antonio Vivaldi to Aaron Copland and John Rutter.
