Readers Needed for Sojourn
The editorial process is already underway for the 21st issue. If you are a UTD student and interested in working on the next issue as a reader on our selection committee, please send an email to: sojourn@utdallas.edu.
What Is the Selection Committee?
Readers on the Selection Committee help us with the time-consuming job of reviewing each of our our submissions, approving or rejecting work for further review, and reporting their preferences and considerations to the genre editors. The genre editors make their choices from the recommendations of the readers, and the editor and managing editors then make final selections for the new issue.
Why Does Sojourn Need Readers?
The volume of submissions Sojourn increases every year. The readers sort the submissions and help the subject editors make their selections for their subjects.
What Genres Are Available?
Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Art, Translation, and Scripts
