The UTDance Ensemble and the Graduate Translator’s Association at The University of Texas at Dallas present three performances of movement, language and voice.  Poetry by contemporary Spanish poet Octavio Paz will be translated in multiple languages and brought to life visually through movement.  Graduate students from the School of Arts and Humanities will recite the poems.  Choreography by UTD dance faculty Michele Hanlon, Micki Saba, and Ph.D. candidate and dancer Solana D’lamant will interpret the poetry through dance.

Poems will include "Song Out of Tune", "Wind from all Compass
Points" by Octavio Paz and "Words in the Shape of a Cloud of Dust" by Jose Emilio Pacheco.
