The UT Dallas Community Chorale…
The UT Dallas Community Chorale, the 40-50-member voice chorale, which combines students with members of the community, performs in the Fall and Spring Arts Festivals every semester. The purpose of the Chorale is to help students and community members enjoy and appreciate choral singing. Singers will benefit by improving their singing technique and the accomplishment of musical goals (such as score reading skills and music theory knowledge). The Chorale is open to all singers who are interested in singing challenging music in a wide variety of styles. Over the past three semesters the Chorale has given performances of composers ranging from Orlando di Lasso, Mozart, Purcell, and Antonio Vivaldi to Benjamin Britton, Aaron Copland, and John Rutter.
