| Under the direction
of Professor Richard Brettell (link to his site here),
UT-Dallas is a member of FRAME (French Regional &
American Museum Exchange). FRAME was formed in 1999
as a unique grouping of museums as a consortium of eighteen
American and French regional museums.
This consortium is dedicated to promoting the circulation
and exchange of works of art, information, ideas, technology
and resources. Its objective is to establish long-term
partnerships on common projects and make their respective
resources available to a wider public on both sides
of the Atlantic.
Past exhibitions have included Raphael and his Age
(Cleveland, Aug – Nov, 2002 and Lille, May-July
2003), American Art (Bordeaux, Oct – Dec, 2001,
Rennes, Jan –
Mar, 2002 and Montpellier, Apr – Jun, 2202) and
The Camerawork of Four American Masters (Strasbourg,
