| WHAT IS THE
GSA?
The Graduate Student Association of the School of Arts
and Humanities at UTD (GSA) is the interest group of
our graduate students. Our purpose is to provide information
about the program, the fields of study and career opportunities,
to create opportunities for networking; and to act as
liaison between the students and the administration.

As a graduate student in the School
you are automatically a voting member of the GSA.
WHERE ARE WE?
Most of our meetings take place in the Graduate Student
Lounge (JO 4.112 – ask Sherry or one of us for
the code). There is a fridge, microwave, coffee maker
as well as couches, tables, and a functioning PC with
Internet access.
We also have a Yahoo group where
we collect useful information, keep meeting minutes
and through which we send out reminders of meetings,
etc. Go to our website to join the group.
ADVOCACY
The GSA has representatives on administration committees,
presents student concerns to the administration and
seeks to inform students about official goings on such
as changes in the program, TA hiring conditions, etc.
