Natasha Lipnitskaya, from Minsk, Belarus, comes
to UTD after winning multiple international competitions,
including placing first in the 2002 International
Guitar Competition in Rust, Austria. At the age
of nine she began studying guitar with Marina Dubovik.
In 1995, she entered the College of Music where
she studied for 4 years under the instruction of
Vladimir Belyshev. She is currently a second
year student at the Belarussian Academy of Music
and is studying with Eugeny Gridyushko. In addition
to her magnificent technique and great musicality,
Natasha boasts a versatile repertoire of works that
span from 16th century to contemporary.
